Sinks
To keep your project less stressful, try to make sure that your sink and faucets will fit in the area that you have chosen. Some of the newer sinks are so large that they don't fit which can cause delays in your final renovation project.
Counter Effects Stock Sinks
Counter Effects stocks various stainless sinks.

There are basically three (3) types of sinks:
Drop In Sink: where hole is cut into a countertop and the sink is just dropped in and siliconed in place. The edge of the sink is finished and polished. This is the most common type of sink used.
Undermount Sink: this sink is attached to the countertop from the underside of
the countertop. Usually this sink is attached to a solid surface, stone or quartz counter.
You are now also able to undermount certain sink models into a laminate countertop with a special
ring called a "Counter-Seal TM" ring.
There are 2 different undermount options called negative and positive reveal. With Negative reveal,
the countertop opening is cut slightly smaller than the sink opening, usually about ¼". A Positive
reveal exactly the opposite, where the countertop opening is cut slightly larger than the sink opening,
allowing the sink edge to be revealed about ¼". With most sinks, you have a choice, but some sinks are
not finished or polished on the edge, allowing only for the negative reveal.
Integrated Sink: this is where the sink and counter are attached seamlessly…there are no ledges or grooves. This option is only available when you have a solid surface countertop and solid surface sink (see below for examples of the Corian Solid Surface sink collections).
